Genoray CT

At Ethos Advanced Dental Care, we know advanced dental imaging is critical for the proper diagnosis of certain dental diseases and for procedures such as dental implants. We’ve invested in Genoray CT Scanning 3-D technology, which allows for scans in as little as 7.7 seconds, reduces potential radiation exposure, while creating clear and accurate images.

CT Scanning, also known as Dental Cone Beam Computer Technology, is a sophisticated scanning device that provides our Temecula, CA dentists, 3-D images that can be used to scan soft tissue, dental structures such as bone, teeth, roots, nerve paths and craniofacial bone is just a single scan. This allows our Ethos Advanced Dental team to properly evaluate diseases related to dental issues and prepare for dental procedures that require ultimate precision, such as dental implants. This advanced technology should not be confused with conventional CT scans that you might receive at your local hospital; however, it does produce similar images at a more focused portion of the face.

Moonray Printing

When it comes to dental implants, the older method was to freehand the procedure, “eyeballing” where the implant should be placed. But now, at our dental practice located in Temecula, CA, our dentists use precise 3-D surgical guides which are printed using the Moonray 3-D printer. This technology utilizes our state-of-the-art CT scanning technology that produces 3-D virtual models for the Moonray 3-D printer to create the precision surgical guides. This allows for our doctors to maximize the precision of the dental implant’s placement, while reducing the risk for possible nerve damage.
